James Turner and Dee-Ann LeBlanc Interviewed
May 18, 2005 4 Comments
Just posted an interview with James Turner and Dee-Ann LeBlanc, who recently stepped down from Sys-Con. The levels came out much better this time and the content was very good. We also have a BitTorrent tracker up now, which should help with the bandwidth issues. I'd like to thank both Dee-Ann and James for taking the time to be on the show.

Many thanks to you, James and Dee-Ann.
This is a true vindication of your belief in, and efforts in bringing the concept of 'radio' to LQ. To me, hearing the participant's voices removes any in-bred bias I might have when reading prose – admittedly I can't stop and consider why someone would choose a particular word to describe their thought processes (and whether I agree with that choice – in the context), but it certainly makes for easy and sometimes amusing listening. And I can pause it when the coffee perculator calls.
Hopefully, you will be able to find a new publisher for your articles, such as those that formed part of Linux Magazine – or will this be unaffected? Hopefully your pearls of wisdom will still be available online for those of us outside the US?
It looks like they have found another place to share those pearls of wisdom:

Congratulations guys!
Do you know what if anything will be the effect on future LW Expos following upon the mass exodus of LW editors?
Sys-con simply pays IDG to use the LinuxWorld name – they have absolutely nothing to do with the LinuxWorld Expo's, which are run solely by IDG. The expo's should really be unaffected by this.
