Sys-Con Taking Some Heat – Update

As a follow-up to this story, it looks like Maureen O'Gara will no longer be writing for sys-con. In addition, old material is being removed from the sites. Good to see that sys-con came to their senses and kudos to the LinuxWorld editors who chose to take a stand on this.

Fuat Kircaali, in an interview with FreeSoftwareMagazine, managed to completely undo any goodwill forged with the FOSS community and his own editorial staff. Read it for yourself at http://www.freesoftwaremagazine.com/free_issues/pills/fuat_kircaali_interview/
Now it looks like the editors whose firm stance got Maureen O'Gara pruned from sys-con tree have circled their wagons yet again.

You don't need to put on your Karnac hat to figure out how this is going to end as James, Dee-Ann, and Steve are trenching in and it really looks like Mr. Kircaali “doesn't get it”.
