LinuxQuestions.org Podcast – 112604
November 26, 2004 7 Comments
Here's the latest LinuxQuestions.org Podcast. Topics include LQ updates, our potential Podcast hardware (will it be Apple?), NoSoftwarePatents.com, my Audacity problems, LQ sponsoring the OSDL Enterprise Linux Summit and my Fedora iPod kernel for FC3. BTW, the mic is a bit misplaced which caused the occasional pop – I'll make sure to get the fixed for the next podcast.

Hey Jeremy,
Sound quality is fine, I cant really tell the different between what came before and now. Great content, nice length. Well done!

Chris
Thanks for the feedback Chris.

Sound volume and quality are very good. I'm looking forward to regular, full podcasts.
This quality is great. These are pretty cool, I will also look foward to more podcasts.
Is there any chance that you would consider using OGG format? Seems like VBR could be helpful too.
Also, outstanding quality on your latest test. Good work.
I'd certainly have no problem using an ogg, especially considering that the format is open (unlike mp3). Not sure if as many people could listen then, unfortunately, as some players still seem to not support them (especially older ones). What does everyone think?
