LinuxWorld UK is already winding down. As the expo here is only 2 days, it goes extremely quickly. The show was once again great and I'd like to thank UK Linux for sponsoring the .Org Village. We had a record tyeing mod turnout, with 6 attendees from 3 continents (including 2 mods I had never previously meet). It's always great to be able to hang out in person and the dedication the mod team continually shows is nothing short of awesome! It's also great to be able to meet members and Linux enthusiasts in general. The expo is a bit smaller than the ones in the USA, but every LinuxWorld I have attended has contained a good mix of people to talk to and learn from. One downside in UK is the complete lack of free connectivity. In the end I ended up paying a per day fee to use one of the local access points. On that note, my time is almost up ![]()
